keep calm and grab a suitcase

There are 28 days left in August and we are going to be gone for 22 of them. Gone as in traveling gone. That's fine and dandy because we love exploring other countries, but we're on a flight back to the United States on the 31st and we still need to pack all of our belongings. We moved to Scotland with just three suitcases each but have accumulated souvenirs, dishes, linens and junk over the past year. We always claim that we don't have a lot of "stuff" but well, it looks like that isn't the case. Does this happen to everyone? Hopefully, because we find ourselves in the same situation every time we move. We pack for days and then after a while, we want to set fire to the remaining items in the apartment that we don't even care about.

In the meantime, we're packing for a weekend trip to Glasgow and the Borders. It seems like it's rare to find a hotel with a swimming pool and jacuzzi in Scotland {we haven't been in one in ages} but our hotel in Glasgow has all of the above. Is it bad that I'm more excited for that?
