me, myself, and i

1. What would you attempt to do if you knew you could not fail?
Skydiving. It has always been in the back of my mind, but I'm terrified of heights. It also doesn't help that about once a year, there's a news article about someone's parachute failing. Rare, but my worst nightmare. I'm hyperventilating just thinking about it.
2. If you had only six month left to live, what would you do with the time?
I would spend every waking moment with my family. I would hang out at my parents' house with my husband and dog, look through old photos, watch hilarious home movies, schedule fun slumber parties with my little sister, and have my mom cook me all of my favorite childhood meals. I'd also call up all of my girlfriends {we all live in different places} and get together, finally.
3. If a front page news article was written on you, what would the headline be?
Animal obsessed woman starts shelter in her house, much to her husband's dismay. Just kidding, but I'm not sure what the headline would be. Hopefully something positive.
4. What is your biggest pet peeve?
Oh, I have a few. Since moving to the United Kingdom, it would have to be separate hot and cold sink faucets because washing your face without either getting 3rd degree burns or frost bite is impossible. Apparently you're supposed to use the sink plug and fill the basin with water to do your washing, but that isn't sanitary enough for me... especially when you're staying at a bunch of hotels. Yuck! I've also found that adjusting the showers to the perfect temperature is next to impossible. They're so touchy! Again, the burn/frost bite problem.
5. What is your favorite chick flick movie?
Love Actually has always been my favorite chick flick. My husband thinks it's the worst movie ever filmed, but I think it's cute. And Hugh Grant dancing? Love it.

  9. I've never seen separate hot and cold faucets at a sink...as far as I can remember, anyways. That's strange. Where I grew up, we had only cold water at the tap, but at least you always knew what to expect!
I've never go skydiving, even if I knew I wouldn't "fail." :P That's still way too scary for me!
