"it's ok" thursdays

It's Ok...
- to occasionally replace blogging with naps... lots and lots of naps. Especially when you're sick. The whole point of me being in the Midwest is to spend time with family and friends, but I didn't know I'd catch something on the plane! It's difficult to converse with people when your head feels as though it's going to explode.
- to have Panera coffee {with whipped cream} for breakfast every morning. Enough said.
- to have dance parties with your little sister in front of the bathroom mirror, while listening to Justin Bieber.
- to wake up your husband every time he falls asleep on a plane. Hey, I get bored easily. I'd much rather have someone to talk to than flip through a sticky Sky Mall magazine.
- that I put off going to the gym while I was living abroad for a year. But now it's time to get back into the groove once again.
- that I'd rather throw my hair up into a wet bun than dry and straighten it. Heat is bad for your hair, right?
- that I'm dreading the drive back to Arizona. 22 hours in a car? No thanks.
- to feel completely lost. Moving around a lot makes me feel like I don't belong anywhere sometimes.
And finally...
- it's ok to cry during animal abuse commercials on TV -- and while reading news articles about cruelty. This happens to me every.single.time. I can't wait to adopt a new shelter pup.

  4. Totally OK to have delicious coffee from Panera. I love their bagels & I am so with you on throwing your hair up instead of straightening it. Have a great day.

  5. You sound like me and my husband when in comes to airplanes. He's always asleep, and it's my job to wake him up and come up with something entertaining enough to make him stay awake longer! Glad I'm not the only one :)

  7. I am pretty sure I have worn my hair up in a wet bun every day for the last month, because it's just too hot out to use a hair dryer. It's also totally ok to have coffee and whipped cream every morning. Used to be the only breakfast I had. :)
I hope you feel better before having to drive back to AZ. You definitely have to be in the right mood for a long car drive.

Sorry that you feel bad... :/ Soon, as in when the weather finally picks a season, you'll feel all better.. :) I normally don't even get around to the bun part, I leave this crap up in a Turbie Towel!

  10. Such a cute post. Those "skymalls" ugh and yet I always end up feeling like a giant inflatable t.v. screen is just what I need-- it happens about an hour or so into the flight. Feel better soon.
