I'm also going to try and catch up on blogging today so if you've left a message, I promise to reply/follow you as soon as possible. PROMISE!
A few positives:
During the drive, we were pulled over by a state trooper who absolutely loved our dog, Malcolm. Most people don't know that he's a West Highland Terrier, but as soon as the officer saw little Malc in the back seat, he said, "Awesome Westie!" Since the husband was only driving 10 mph over the speed limit, he let us off with a warning -- but we all know that he was nice because of our little man. ;) I think our pup deserves a new treat!
Our apartment pool is ah-mazing. It's massive, surrounded by palm trees, has a waterfall, and of course, a huge jacuzzi. I'm sure most places in the South have great pools, but we're definitely not used to this. Getting a little sun will be such a nice change since the UK was quite gloomy. However, we are starting to miss all of the castles... Have I mentioned that there's a castle on every corner in Scotland? :)
Since we're back in the United States, I can finally get crafty! There are so many projects I've found on Pinterest this past year, but I didn't want to take the time to make any of them just in case they got destroyed in an air shipment over the big, blue pond. I can't wait to decorate and have fun with our new place.
Speaking of Pinterest...
I'm linking up with The Vintage Apple {adorable blog} once again!

Your apartment complex sounds amazing! And I love all those map crafts you have from pinterest. I have some of those pinned also. I love the idea of making something out of maps of places that have meaning to me and the hubby. Hope you get to start crafting soon!
ReplyDeleteThe travel collage sounds like a great idea! Then it's out for everyone to see. I have a scrapbook and tote of a trip to Japan I took and that would be a great way to get it out and on display. Cute blog. Can't wait to read more of your new place in AZ.
ReplyDeleteAlso Scotland is on our list of places to go since my husbands family is from there. That and I love castles!
I love all the travel stuff! I need to find more time to DIY some stuff around here. :) All in good time, I suppose! Have fun getting settled!
