I'm sad the weekend is almost over, but we accomplished a lot. Our apartment is finally organized and after spending way too many evenings at the car dealerships here, we bought an SUV! Productivity is always nice.
- My phone so I can
- Cherry ChapStick -- isn't it the worst when you can't find your lip balm?!
- Our iPad or MacBook Pro
- Clarisonic Mia
- A notepad so I can write down ideas/things I need to buy during errands. If I don't write something down, I forget right away!
All time favorite book?
Night by Elie Wiesel. I've always been interested in books about Nazi Germany and WWII.
Something you'd like to accomplish by the end of 2012?
I'd love to start taking newborn photos professionally -- and maybe even some engagement ones. I've taken a few photography classes in the UK and in the States {and loved every minute}, so now I need to build my portfolio. I have a bunch of landscape and travel photos from all of our trips, but I haven't taken any of people. Luckily, I talked my sister into letting me take her senior portraits. :)
Oh, and I might sign up for my first 5K! I am NOT a runner...
If you could go back and relive any year of your life, which year would it be?
I would relive the year B {husband} and I met. I was completely stressed out at work, but it was so much fun getting to know him in DC. We went on some fun dates that included comedy clubs, dance lessons, ice skating, embassy receptions, etc -- and we went on a cruise!
What do you wish people knew about you without you having to tell them?
That I'm perfectly happy observing and listening in different situations. I'm not a person who feels the need to fill every silence with the sound of my own voice; sometimes listening is just as important.

Great post! Love your answers to the questions. Such a fun idea.
ReplyDeletebet taking newborn pictures would be rewarding and so fun!!
ReplyDeleteNight is one of the few popular books about the Holocaust that I haven't read. I've been meaning to add it to my list for a while, so thanks for reminding me! Have you read Sarah's Key and The Lost Wife? They are both absolutely amazing. Thanks for sharing! Just stopping by from the link up.
ReplyDeleteI liked Night too! I still have it ony book shelf after having to read it for school. I've been thinking about re-reading it and this reminded me about that.
ReplyDeleteNewborn photos would be so much fun! Good luck getting the portfolio together!
Not having my Chapstick is one of the worst things...it seems like that's when my lips feel the most chapped!
ReplyDeleteI've always been fascinated by Nazi Germany and all that stuff too. Night is a great book.
Love your answer to the last question! Oh, and you should definitely sign up for a 5k! Start slow, and you'll be amazed at what you can eventually do!

Really cute. I know how you feel about the whole being silent thing, too! I love listening to others.
ReplyDeleteStopping by from the blog hop. I am the same way as your answer for the last question. It seems like so many people don't get that. Not everyone has to talk constantly!
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to getting to know you better as your newest follower!
Have a great day!
