weekend update

What better way to tell you about my weekend than with the weekend update blog hop!

1. We finally have a vehicle! B and I sold both of our cars before moving to the UK, so when we got back to the States, we needed something ASAP. We wanted an SUV for the extra space and found this one for a great price.

2. We tested out the pool at our apartment complex this weekend. :)

3/4. The dog on the left is our little Westie, Malcolm and the dog on the right is a foster named Indy. We're doing a two week foster to adopt trial period right now and it hasn't been going well. The dogs snuggle and play, but Malcolm gets jealous, and on top of that, they're almost too much to handle when together. Our morning walk today was a nightmare. 
See the angry looking red mark on Indy's neck? He was previously staying with a different foster family, but they had to give him back to the animal rescue because he climbed a fence and got hurt. He's definitely an escape artist! 

4. Preparing for Fall with a yummy scented candle from Target. It seriously smells like my parents' kitchen!

    5. fall candles make me happy :) i have a pumpkin cupcake one and a pumpkin caramel latte one...both from bath and body works. they smell soooo good!

  4. I love your new SUV!! Have you tried the 3-wick candles from Bath & Bodyworks?! My favorite scent for fall is Leaves, so yummy! And when they're 2 for $20 you can't go wrong! ;)

  6. I love everything about this! Yay for new cars, yay for fall candles, yay for pools! As for the puppies - it has taken my two big dogs almost 3 months to finally settle down with the 3rd addition around. If they get along well.....that's actually a really really good thing! Especially for being so new to each other. I know it's a hard decision, but being in an apartment where he can't climb the fence might be a good thing for him? :) He's super cute! Good luck with whatever you decide!

  7. Love the Rogue!! I have a red one I got a few months back :) We recently got a third dog and the other two didn't react well. It's been almost 5 months but they seem to be liknig each other more and more now. They rarely fight or snarl, lol.

  14. I've been blog browsing this morning and I'm glad I stumbled upon your blog =) I love how simple and pretty it is. I hope the pups can find a way to get along! They look so cute together =) I too have been filling my house with the smell of Fall. I think I over-did it yesterday though. lol It smelled like a pumpkin spice explosion in here!
