high five for friday

Today I'm linking up with Lauren for High Five for Friday because my husband's home early from work, and I'm feeling cheerful. Anyone else excited to start the weekend? We are about to leave for lunch in downtown Scottsdale and the Brat Haus is on the menu. Yay, German sausages!

1. I won The Blue Eyed Owl's giveaway which means I'm going to the REVIVE Bloggers Conference in Phoenix! I've been doing a little research and the list of speakers is phenomenal. Whippy Cake, A Night Owl, and Ashley from The Shine Project all in the same room? Um, yes please. I can't wait.


2. Our foster dogs have been really good since their snip on Wednesday. You would think they'd be depressed about losing their manhood, but they've calmed down and they're not marking up our furniture. This is great because I no longer want to throw them out onto the streets. I'm kidding. I'd never do that. But it was getting old. They also have an adoption event on Saturday and Sunday so I'm thinking cute Valentine's Day bandanas might entice someone to pick up these sweeties. What do you think? {Fraser}

3. I met the wonderful Jessa from Life of a Sports Wife at a hockey game last night! This was the first time I've ever met a blogger in "real life" so I didn't know what to expect, but the entire experience was great. The only problem? I didn't get a photo. What kind of blogger am I? Anyway, this just makes me more excited to meet some wonderful ladies at the Phoenix bloggers conference coming up.
4. My Life's Little Moments post was surprisingly popular this week. Guess what that means? I'll be doing a photo dump from my iPhone every Monday!

5. And last but not least... my husband got into the Grad School of his choice and will be starting his MBA program soon. Good job, B! We are proud of you.
